About Me

I joined the Department of Mathematics at the University of Kentucky as an Assistant Professor in 2024. Before that, I was a postdoc in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science at the University of Waterloo (2023–2024) and previously worked as a Quantitative Analyst at Wells Fargo (2022–2023). I received my B.S. from Sichuan University (2012-2016) and Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Utah (2017-2022). Both Chengdu and Salt Lake City hold many sweet memories from my early adulthood.

My research interests lie in the mathematics of data. Specifically, I work on ranking, randomized approximation, and multifidelity methods. I am supported in part by NSF grant no. DMS-2607989.
